Lee, I love you.

As you know, I'm a sucker for trying different products. If I see someone raving about a product I have to give it a go, even if I don't necessarily need to. Anyway, I saw one of my friends had picked up some Lee Stafford Pro-Growth shampoo a few months ago and was really impressed. After I got 'the chop', from long locks to a bob last year, I've been willing my hair to just grow. I always get my hair cut when I get bored, and always regret it. I always thought my hair grew pretty fast, well I know it does cos I have to do my roots pretty much every 4 weeks or so. But it just doesn't grow fast enough! I also am paranoid about my crown (I haven't taken a photo of it cos I hate it!) I always feel as if it looks like a bald-patch because of the way my hair falls. So I pretty much tie my hair up all the time to try and cover it.

I picked up my Lee Stafford shampoo and conditioner, about a month ago. I didn't want to review it earlier until I knew whether it lived up to it's claims or not. Here are my bottles, so you can see how much I've used.

I wash my hair every other day, so this will be after about 15 washes, I would say the bottle would last just under a month if you were to use them every day. You only get 200ml, which isn't lots compared to other brands and each bottle comes in at a hefty £6.99. But is it worth it?

Okay, I haven't noticed a HUGH difference, maybe my expectations were too high, but I have noticed some difference.

I don't know how well you can tell on this photo ( I couldn't get a decent pic), but along my hair line I have fresh hair growing! At the moment it is only a couple of centimetres long but nevertheless, it is there! This is such good news for me, as I have very fine hair, that sometimes lacks volume and I was beginning to notice it thinning even more. This has defiantly improved the strength of my hair, it doesn't seem as brittle or prone to snapping, and it has obviously encouraged my hair to grow, which I am really excited about.

This is currently on 3for2 in Boots, so I think I will pick some more up before it goes off offer. If you have fine, dull, thin hair I would defiantly recommend giving this a try. I'm really pleased with the results after only a month, who knows maybe be after six months I could rival Rapunzel?
