Malibu and Soap.

So I said I broke more than one rule of my spending ban this week. I went into Superdrug to get shampoo (which is allowed!) and came out with a face mask too.

I've been seeing Superdrug's new range of face masks popping up all over the blogesphere, so of course I just HAD to try one. Oops.

I picked up the Tropical Cocktail Peel-Off Mask. I've never used a peel off before so I was little nervous, but it worked really well and I wasn't left with any residue.

Okay, so this smells exactly like Malibu, if you're a fan of coconut and pineapple, this is for you. It was a little overpowering though, so I don't think I would go for this one again. However they have so many new yummy flavours including Choc Orange - I think that will be my next one, after the 9th December of course!

This is made for all skin types, so was fine for my oily/combination skin, and it did leave it lovely and soft. Plus it felt really refreshed and clean! It is REALLY sticky though, so make sure you're over the sink when you put it on, no one wants face mask on the carpet! Oh and put your hair up! I did get a little in my eyebrows, which was a bit annoying to get off!

Just to clarify, the last photos - my nails aren't dirty I had grey varnish on and it had started chipping, hence the funny colour they look. I have very clean nails!

Have you tried any other flavours?

  4. Yum, I haven't treated myself to any delicious smelling masks for ages as I've been going through a stage of using clarifying masks a lot. You've reminded me to pop in and pick a couple up though, as they're really cheap and so much more pleasant to pamper yourself with.
