Elemis Fresh Skin Review.

I received a sample of Elemis Fresh Skin Skin Glow Exfoliating Wash from Harvey Nichols a couple of weeks back. I did mention in in a YouTube video last week, I think I was again very quick to judge. I got about three uses out of the sample - which I was using after my Cleanse and Polish on an evening. I was really impressed with a) not breaking out and b) how soft my skin felt. Seeing that Elemis is now available in Superdrug, I popped along and picked myself up a full bottle.

It's pretty good value for money, considering I would see Elemis as a higher end high-street brand. I'm assuming that 'fresh skin' is their 'budget brand'? I got 100ml for £11.99 and as i'm only using this once a day or every other day it should last me quite a while. A small amount goes a long way so I've only been using about a 5p sized amount and exfoliating my T-Zone and chin area. I've been avoiding my cheeks as they can become quite dry, as can the top of my forehead/hairline.

The consistency is gel-like and has tiny orange beads. They isn't thousands of beads that your face feels like it's been grated, but just enough to do a good clean. This does say it's enriched with mandarin which is the scent that really over powers this wash. It's not my favourite smell but it's not unpleasant. I would recommend this wash if you have an oily T-zone that gets clogged up and is prone to blemishes. The texture of my skin the last few weeks has improved, and although the Winter has arrived it's probably in the best condition it's been in the whole year.

A few things I didn't know about Elemis before my sample are their products are paraben, SLS free and don't use and artificial colours or silicones. And of course do not test on animals! Their motto on the top of this tube is "defined by nature led by science". I would defiantly repurchase this product and without a doubt have a look at their other products. Maybe when I have a few pennies I will experiment with some of their higher range stuff!

Have you tried anything from Elemis?
