Ruby Red Reviving Body Cleanser.

Reviving Body Cleanser 500ml - £32*

I was contacted by Ruby Red Cosmetics a while back and asked if I would like to review one of their products. After reading up and finding out they were a natural brand, that uses plant extracts rather than harsh chemicals in their products and they are animal friendly - I was very excited to give their brand a go.

I was sent a 500ml bottle of their Reviving Body Cleanser, which can be used in the bath, shower or as a hand wash. I love the bottle it came in, it's very expensive looking but is actually plastic so I won't smash it, as I've had it out on display as a hand wash. I'm not sure how easy I could use the pump bottle in my shower as we don't have a toiletries holder thingy.

The smell of this is AMAZING, it's citrussy but subtle at the same time. Of course cos the brand uses no SLS, parabens, sulfates, petrochemicals etc. it does smell very natural and refreshing. I love the hint of Cedarwood as it leaves a hint of perfumey niceness (I know what I mean), but isn't overpowering. As the product has no nasties in it, it doesn't seem to dry my hands out like other hand washes do. If I use a hand wash from a public toilet I'm rooting for my hand cream (and sanatizer) as soon as I get out the door.

The 500ml bottle is priced at £32 or you can grab a 200ml for £16.00 - but if you do the maths you get an extra 100mls free if you opt for the larger size. Although the pricing, in my is quite steep, I would imagine it will last as a hand wash, a good few months. And as a shower gel I would say a month or so as the bottle is pretty hefty.

You can pick a bottle of this up over at Ruby Red Cosmetics website here. They have a huge range of products from hair care to body scrubs, I'm eyeing up the Shea Skin Cream!

  1. This product sounds really nice, I love that it's made from natural ingredients! It's a shame about the price tag, though, it's a little too pricey for me!
