Gluten Free Chocolate Cookies.

Hale & Hearty Chocolate Cookie Mix - £1.99

I bought this cookie mix on a whim in Sainsbury's - they have a pretty good free from section and these were labelled as 'new' so I grabbed a box. I've never used a gluten free packet mix before, mainly cos I usually just make cakes/biscuits from scratch as I usually have the ingredients in. But these looked too yummy not to try, plus it was more expensive for me to buy all the stuff separate to make them - which is a rarity when it comes to gluten free cooking.

The cookies were super easy to make, all I did was add 2 eggs and some butter - but they can also be made Vegan with soya yoghurt and dairy free butter! These didn't taste gluten free at all and were gorgeous, even two days after I'd baked them - they didn't last any longer than that cos they were too tasty! The best thing about these mixes are they are free from wheat, gluten, artificial flavourings and additives.

I'm desperate to pick up a few more of their range, I think I will try their Double Chocolate Muffin Mix next.
