No7 facial Brush.

No7 Facial Brush - £15 (on offer)

After lusting after the Clarisonic for so long, I was so excited to hear that Boots were bringing out their own version at a fraction of the price. I've been after a dupe forever and this one is finally in my budget. Well, my mam's budget as she kindly got me this.

I've had this brush just over a week now, and I can already see it making a difference to my skin. My main concern that I wanted to try and resolve with a facial brush, was blocked pores/enlarged pores and black heads. Of course this isn't a miracle worker, and isn't going to solve all of my skin problems but this certainly improving the size of my pores already. My area of concern is around my nose and under my eye/cheek area. My pores have always been huge and get clogged very easily, but this has reduced them dramatically on my nose already.

I originally was using this once every other day, but did a little research into the Clarisonic and that is recommended for use daily, so I've upped my game and have been using this every evening before bed. Obviously, this recommends using a No7 cleanser alongside it, but I've been using my Superdrug/Liz Earle hot cloth cleansers instead.

This brush has two settings for two different speeds, I use the slower speed around the more delicate areas and the faster one to get into all the cracks and really give a good deep clean.

I think a few people have been a little weary about this not having a cap to fit the brush head, although its not idea for travelling, I don't have an issue with no lid. The brush head needs to air dry anyway and my little bunny flannel is the perfect place for it to do that. This is also battery operated, instead of chargable but again this isn't an issue, and you can always invest in some re-chargable batteries!

Have you tried this brush yet?

  1. I saw it in Boots the other day and was contemplating buying it. £15 is not that big sum of money as I would have paid for Clarisonic etc. - which may not be for me. Thanks for the review!

  2. I really want to try this! But I am really cheap when it comes to skincare as I'd rather spend money on make up. It does sound great though x

  13. Bought on your recommendation :) I tried it for the first time last night, but have really sore areas around my nose now :( I only gave it a brief cleanse as it was my first time....has anyone else had this after using?

    1. I only use it on the first setting at the moment cos my skin is very delicate. It sort of leaves a tingly feeling on my face after I've used it, but that usually goes after a few minutes xx
