Origins GinZing.

Origins GinZing Eye Cream - Full Size £21

I got this in a set with the VitaZing (review here), and now I've had a good chance to try it I think it's time for a review. I'll be honest, I'm pretty shocking when it comes to eye creams. I never use one for a long period of time and get bored pretty easy. I don't think I have any MAJOR problems with my eye area, it is darker than I would like and obviously as I'm getting older my skin hasn't quite got the same elasticity and my crow's feet are starting to appear. So I would say now is probably the best time for me to start using an eye cream on a daily basis.

One thing I dislike is eye cream in tubes, I have no idea why I don't like this but they irritate me. It's probably because I always end up squirting too much out and it gets messy. So this being in a cute little pot, certainly gets the thumbs up from me.

This has a really light formula, which is always good especially around the delicate eye area. The colour is a pinky skin colour which I assume is to correct the darkness under eyes, it definitely does lighten and brighten my dark circles. The consistency is lovely too, this is another thing that winds me up about eye creams - the stickiness, nobody wants sticky eyes! This however doesn't leave a residue and seems to sink in instantly so I can go ahead with my make up routine straight away.

I don't think this eye cream is suitable if you're after something to control those crow's feet, as it doesn't feel like it's tightening - but it doesn't claim to either. This is perfect if you are just starting out with eye creams, like me, as a simple to use eye cream that does what it says on the tin!

Have you tried this? What's your favourite eye cream?
