Face Mask Faves.

I am a face mask addict, I use face masks at least 4 times a week - that may seem excessive but I use different ones for different things. I just wanted to show you my favourite face masks I've tried.

Elemental Herbology Facial Glow Radience Peel - 50ml £39

This is a mask I have a love/hate relationship with, and it's probably my least favourite of these masks. That's not to say I don't like what it does to my skin, it just frustrates me that it is only applied for 4 minutes, then you take it off. I don't know about you, but I like to lie back and relax with a face mask on, 4 minutes is just not long enough. It's full of gorgeous things to literally make your face 'glow' and some friendly acids to hell with cell renewal, just a lovely mask. You can pick this up from Look Fantastic here.

Soap & Glory No Clogs Allowed - 100ml £11

Much more reasonably priced than the others, which is a big thumbs up for me. I use this when I feel congested and my skin needs to breathe a little. This has tiny beads in so is a good exfoliator as you take it off. It's also self heating, so is perfect when it's chilly outside and you really need warming up. I adore the scent, much like all of the S&G products I've tried - although this is my first skin care product. The only down side is, if you don't use it regularly it can become a little watery and weird inside the tube. You can pick this up from Boots here.

REN Invisible Pores Detox Mask - 50ml £18

Obviously, this isn't the full size - I got a few sample sizes of this product so I could give it a good go. I've had about two masks out of each of the 5ml tubes I have, which suggests the full size would last a long time. This is a clay mask and kind of reminded me of Origins Clear Improvement, but I actually like this better. It really digs deep into your pores and leaves you skin feeling so fresh and soft after you remove it. This is perfect for those days when your skin is misbehaving. You can pick this up from Space NK here.

Origins Mega Mushroom Skin Relief Face Mask - 100ml £34

Last, but not least, my favouirte mask ever. Of course, it had to be an Origins mask. I've tried a few of their face masks now, and none compare to this one. I have very red skin at the moment that is very dry due to medication and this is just perfect for perking my skin up and chilling it out. The mega mushroom range was developed for people with sensitive skin and common skin problems. As it suggest 'skin relief' it certainly does do that. I use this mask at least once a week, and the thing I love most is that I can leave it on as long as I want then just wipe it away. Perfect. You can pick this up at Selfridges here.

What are your all time favourite masks?

  1. I'm always terrified of face masks because most of the time they react with my eczema which is something I obviously don't want, but this post has made me intrigued to try some because it seems your skin at the moment made me slightly similar.

  4. I've always wanted to try the elemental herbology masks - I always end up leaving masks on for way longer than they say to as well! So interested to try the REN mask too, I'm coming to the end of my Origins clear improvement :(.
