The Fault in Our Stars.

"I cannot tell you how thankful I am for our little infinity. I wouldn't trade it for the world. You gave me a forever within the numbered days, and I'm grateful" -The Fault In Our Stars

I read this book in 3 days - this might not be too significant for you but I'm Dyslexic and read pretty slow, so this is fast for me. This is possibly the best book I've ever read, and I've read a few books. I've never read anything by John Green before, but I love his writing style and will certainly be picking up some more of his work. I love how straight to the point this book is, and how honest and realistic the characters and story line is. It was so hard picking a quote to add to this post, cos there are so many wonderful quotes in this book.

I don't want to write too much about this book, cos I don't want to spoil it. But I will tell you this will make you laugh and cry all on the same page. I don't usually get 'moved' by fiction but I wouldn't recommend reading this on public transport. To sum the story up briefly it follows cancer patient Hazel and her boyfriend Gus, and really is just a story of bravery and strength. I found myself wondering if I would be as strong in the same situation. Although this is 'made-up' it really does make you realise how precious life is and how lucky you are to be you.

I would recommend this book 110%, even if you don't like reading I think this could convert you!

Have you read this? Did you love it as much as me?

  4. John Green is brilliant, if you'd like another book by him 'Looking for Alaska' is great. However, I won't be reading fault in our stars because I know it will definitely be too sad for me, ha!
