B-Organic Body Balm.

B Organic Soothing Body Balm - £13*

A few weeks back I was sent the Unscented Body Balm from the people over at B Organic. I wanted to give it a good go before doing a review and as you can see I've been applying my body balm nearly everyday.

The body balm is designed for any skin irritation and is safe to use on nappy rash too, which makes it very hand to have in the house. I get eczema on my arms, which I think is caused by hand sanitizer, so there isn't any way I can prevent it. I also suffer with acne as most of you will know and get very dry skin on my chin.

I've been using this predominately on my back acne, my chest and arms. I've avoided my face purely cos it doesn't take well to change, so it's safer for me to stick with the moisturiser I already use. This balm is a really thick consistency in the pot and is very solid, but as soon as it comes into contact with the warmth of your skin it just sort of melts into a oily balm. It is pretty greasy when first applied, which put me off at first, but after a minute or so it disappears into the skin. It doesn't leave any residue which was something I was worried about, but it goes completely clear once applied.

Although it is described as 'unscented' the balm, as you would expect has some natural scent. Which to be honest, I really don't like - another reason I haven't been applying it to my face. The scent is obviously just from the oils inside the balm, but it just takes a little getting used to. It hasn't put me off using the product though.

The body balm itself is very moisturising and soothing. It certainly stops me from itching pretty swiftly, which is always a good thing. I think it's actually been encouraging my skin to heal a little quicker too, as the eczema on my arms seems to be healing quicker than usual, with minimal scarring.

The ingredients in this body balm are: Shea Butter, Apricot Kernel oil, Vitamin E, Borage Oil and Rose Hip Oil. They are certified organic and this body balm is 100% chemical free and cruelty free, which as you know is a huge plus for me.

I'm dying to try the Lavender and Chamomile body balm, as I think the scent would suit me more than the unscented!
