Jewel Candle.

If you know me, you'll know candles are one of my favourite things. Sometimes we have that many candles burning our house replicates something of a church. Of course, I couldn't turn down the chance to try out a new brand of candle, and this one comes with a little twist - jewellery.

The idea of Jewel Candles amazed me and when my candle arrived I couldn't wait to start burning it and see what treat was inside. Jewel Candle do two types of candle, this smaller size which has earrings in and a large size which contains a ring. I went for the earrings as I have issues with thin fingers so getting a ring to fit me is a night mare. The jewellery is contained within a tin-foil shell and protected from the wax. My earrings were about half way down the candle so I was very excited to get the candle burning.

Vanilla Applepie smells gorgeous, and I kind of wish I'd picked a larger candle purely for the quality of the scent. It is very appley but not too sweet and a you get hints of vanilla and cinnamon every now and again which is yummy. I would describe it as quite a Christmassy smell but October is close enough for me. These candles could rival some of the bigger brands out there for scent. Not only this, but this is the first candle I've had in a long while that has actually burned evenly and not left a huge amount of wasted wax along the outside of the glass.

I love the idea of the Jewel Candle and I adore the quality, I would certainly consider picking another one up after I've finished this one.

  3. I was offered one of these for review but never received it (you've just reminded me lol). I didn't know what to think of the concept as I'm a bit choosey when it comes to jewellery! It sounds really nice though.
