Bleach London - The Big Pink.

Being a student nurse means I can't go too wild with my hair colour, so when Bleach London introduced their colours to Boots I knew I had to give them a go. They're perfect for me cos I can colour my ombre and as they wash out within 2-10 washes it's a quick fix to liven up my hair style. They're so easy to use, kind of like a conditioning mask - you shampoo hair as normal towel dry, apply the colour and leave for 15 minutes then rinse out and voila! These photos are all from the same day, in different lights so you can get the idea of the colour pay off, oh and this was after one wash, so it's slightly tones down from when I originally did it.

For reference my ombre is a coppery blonde - not bleach blonde so if you're wondering about colour pay off, I'd say it's pretty amazing considering my hair is quite dark. I think bleach blond hair would be VERY bright in this colour. I picked The Big Pink rather than the lighter shade cos I wanted more of a colour pay off but they do a candy pink sort of colour if you're looking for something a little more subtle.

Something else I love is the tiny amount I've needed to use. I split my hair in half and used a 10p sized amount of colour on both halves and that was more than enough. One thing I will say is, this colour doesn't come with gloves so either use ones out of another dye kit or invest in some marigold's, it can get messy! I'm really impressed with Bleach London and will certainly be picking up some other colours to experiment with.

Have you tried anything from Bleach London?

  15. Great post! I'm a student nurse too but i'm too scared to go too crazy with the hair colour~ This seems to be ok though because it's not too ott. The colour is so pretty, but its a bother that this kit doesnt come with gloves though.

Thanks for sharing~ Have a lovely day.
