Lulu & Boo Chamomile Cleansing Balm.

In my hunt for a new cleanser, I was kindly sent this Chamomile Cleansing Balm* from Lulu & Boo organics. I'm crazy for cleansing oils and balms, so this one really excited me. It's a really thick consistancy so a little pea sized amount is all that is needed to cleanse my whole face. I've used this generally as the first step in my double cleanse, mainly to remove make up. This is amazing at getting rid of make up, but does leave a little residue on my face, so unless you're an avid double cleanser like me, this might not be the one for you.

The scent is really natural, as suggested by the '99% organic ingredients'. It's kind of herbally but not too over powering, which is always a plus. The only downside to this cleanser is it seems to break me out. Not those awful cystic spots, but strange pimples around my nose area, which doesn't seem to happen with other cleansers. I'm really upset that my skin doesn't agree with this, however I'm having problems with allergies at the moment and haven't quite figured out what is upsetting my skin on my chest, so of course that could also be the problem.

I think this is the perfect cleanser for someone that needs a good moisture boost and if you're looking for a cheaper cleansing balm alternative, this could be it. The Chamomile Cleansing Balm is £24.75 from the Lulu & Boo website.

  5. Such a shame it's not working for you! It might be too rich for you skin - do you have oily skin? Some of the ingredients may be too rich for you which is causing the breakouts. Sounds like a great product though & I love the name!
