Highstreet Mini-Haul.

I can't get enough of 'highstreet' brands at the moment and last week I took full advantage of Boots 3 for 2 and No7 voucher deals. I realise I'm only showing two of the items I bought on the 3 for 2 deal, but the other is saved for another post, coming up soon. I've been really into hair care and styling recently and I've raved about the Charles Worthington dupe for the Oribe Texturising Spray, but I actually think this L'Oreal TXT Volume Texturising Spray is even better. I think this will need an entire post dedicated to itself, I'm obsessed.

The other item I picked up in the 3 for 2 was the Dove Leave in Conditioning Spray. My hair is VERY fine but I have a lot of it, which means it's prone to getting tangled - using a spritz of this while it's damp or even when my hair is dry, makes it much more manageable. I'm not completely blown away by this product, but it does as good a job as any I've tried.

My finally purchase from Boots was actually a re-purchase of the No7 Melting Gel Cleanser for Normal/Dry Skin. I used my £5 off skincare voucher for this, so it cost a whole £4.50 for 150mls! This is a lovely cleanser and literally removes EVERY scrap of make up. Again, I think I will dedicate an entire post to my updated skincare routine soon. But if you have dryish skin and you're looking for a budget cleanser give this one a go - especially while there is £5 off.

I also popped into Primark and I was actually quite restrained. I did pick up some other bits and bobs but beauty-wise these were my most recent purchases. I picked up these eyelash curlers for £1 after seeing them on someone's blog. They are really great for the money and certainly do what they say on the tin.

Finally I spotted this really cute glass jar at the till. It's adorable and a lot like other ones I've seen but for a much cheaper price tag. This was £3 and is the perfect size for popping my cotton wool pads in. Primark really seem to have upped their game home-ware wise recently, I will certainly be checking out the home-ware section more often.

Have you picked anything up lately?

  3. I wasn't aware that Dove did hair care products. This is worth knowing about. I have quite curly hair and I have been told that leave-in conditioners encourage curl, I don;t know if this is factual but I should definitely give it a go. Love the glass jar as it looks quite vintage like.

  4. Lovely haul, unfortunately I'm allergic to No7 skincare products :( I'm okay with the makeup though!
