The Bathory: Detox Bath Salts.

I adore having a bath. It's no secret that I love to lounge around in a steaming tub and let my worries be carried away. I'm a big fan of gorgeous smelling bath products and bath salts are one of my all time favourite treats. The Bathory very kindly allowed me to make up my own personalised bath salts* to help me chillax and rejuvenate after a long day at work.

The Bathroy website is really fun. You first choose your salt type and then you choose three oils to be added to the salt to create your own unique bath salts. I went with 'Detox' which are Epsom Salts with clay, I then chose my three essential oils which were eucalyptus, bergamot and sandalwood. And let me tell you, they smell incredible. I got these from the post office and before I'd even opened them I could smell them through the packaging - amazing.

Now onto bath time. These salts completely chill me out. I feel relaxed and so much more calm once I've used these in my bath. I've used them completely alone and also mixed with one of my not-so-strongly scented bubble baths. These salts are an absolute treat and I've been completely converted from my usual bath salt from Burt's Bees (although they do smell pretty good too), and will be experimenting more with The Bathory salts in the future.

Do you enjoy bath salts?

  2. These sound lovely! I quite like bath salts but I don't use them as often cos they're not as 'exciting' as bombs or bubbles haha xx

  4. I've not really used bath salts before but I'd be really tempted to try these. They sound lovely! I'm always looking for new ways to soothe my soul and these may be my next stop.

  5. Hello, I'm sorry it's completely unrelated to the bath salts but I'm new to blogging an despite my best efforts I can't work out how to get the 'followers' and 'join this site' button on my blog? I assume it's a gadget of some sort but I don't know which one! Sorry to be a pain:-)

    1. No problem. You need to go into 'layout' on blogger and add a HTML code from Bloglovin and the followers button should appear! x

  6. This sounds like fun. I use Epsom salts after long runs as they are great for tired muscles. Sandalwood is one of my favourite smells so would probably pick the same as you.
