The Vintage Vamp Palette.

So something a little unexpected and naughty happened when I went for my shopping trip on Thursday. We casually popped into Selfridges Beauty Hall and there to my surprise was a Charlotte Tilbuy counter. This is completely new to Selfridges in Manchester and at the moment it's pretty small but it is going to be much bigger soon.

I completely fell in love with everything on the counter and after chatting with one of the assistants, I sat down and had my eye make up done with the Vintage Vamp palette which I've been eyeing up forever. The entire palette felt as if it was just made for me and I simply couldn't leave without it. The MUA talked me through how to use the palette and why Charlotte designed it this way - it's the perfect palette for a transformation from day to night. I've been using the lightest shade for all over and highlighting under my brows. Then taking the lighter purple and using it in my crease and finishing with the gold as a 'pop' of colour for a day time look. The darker purple is certainly for those nights you want a super glam eye.

I was completely convinced when I was informed they work out cheaper than the MAC palettes and you actually get more product for your money - sold. This palette was £38 and worth every penny, I will be going back for more.

  16. We've just got Charlotte Tilbury in the Birmingham Selfridges too! It's all very exciting! This was the palette that stood out to me the most too - The shimmery shade is stunning! I haven't bought it yet as I'm saving for a camera, but it's on my wish list & I may have to treat myself in the (hopefully) fairly near future! Xx
