Specsavers Styling Advice.

Last week I was asked if I'd like to pop along to Specsavers in the Arndale Centre and pick out some new glasses. I was kindly given a budget of £150 to spend in store - I seriously felt like a kid in a sweet shop! Upon arrival I was greeted by the lovely Katie who took me through the ranges and discussed shapes and sizes that would be right for me. I was given lots of styling advice and probably tried on most of the shop. I'm incredibly fussy when it comes to my glasses, as I have to wear them for everything I refuse to pick anything but perfection. Katie was so patient with me while I browsed the shelves an finally picked a few pairs that I liked. What I didn't realise was that the 2 for 1 offer applies to any frames over £69 so I then needed to settle on a second pair. Katie suggested I try a few pairs of sunglasses and I instantly fell in love with a Cheap Monday pair.

Anna from Only Beattie joined us and I sat and chatted about my blog and with Anna whilst my glasses were being trimmed and fitted. I settled on four pairs and finally narrowed them down to two. The first pair are gorgeous Replay tortoise shell glasses* that are just the perfect shape for me. I fell in love with the matte finish on the glasses and they look and feel like a timeless pair

My second pair, of course, had to be the Cheap Monday Marble Sun RX sunglasses*. I just adore the shape and how light they feel on my face. These also have an amazing finish, the frames look as if they're made from wood - when in fact it's actually just plastic. I am so excited to have a pair of sunglasses I can see through without my contacts in. It may be coming to winter but I will still be rocking my shades.

I went to pick up my specs this week. I actually turned up a day before my appointment to see if they were in stock and they were. The staff were so helpful and played around with my frames until I was happy with the fit. There is something so nice about great customer service and not feeling like you are being rushed. I'm really impressed!

Thank you so much Specsavers for having me and helping me find the perfect glasses!

  1. Both look great but I especially love the Cheap Monday ones! I had my first eye test this year (I somehow made it 28 years without one) and discovered I needed some for occasional use, was sooo hard to find any I liked!
