Jo Malone Convert.

Way back in June the hubby surprised me with a Jo Malone candle for my birthday. I'm completely obsessed with candles, as well as Jo Malone and always spend a good 15 minutes hanging around the JM counter in Selfridges. I think I have a wishlist a mile long for Jo Malone goodies and this candle in Green Tomato Leaf was up there with the best. There was something really nostalgic about this scent and I knew I needed it in my candle collection.

This was my first JM candle and I have to say I'm a complete convert. You can smell this as soon as it's lit and the scent seems to travel throughout the house in a matter of minutes. I live in a three story house and the hubby commented he was getting wafts even up on the third floor. The best thing about this is the subtleness. This isn't overpowering but leaves a gorgeous sweet, green scent throughout the house which just smells incredible.

I've followed the instructions and trim the wick before lighting, as well as putting the candle out with a snuffer rather than blowing the wax. This is made the candle burn evenly and I'm hoping to not leave any of this gorgeous wax behind.

So the question is, are they worth the £40 price tag? In my opinion, absolutely. If my bank balance would allow I'd have a Jo Malone candle in every room. As well as a reed diffuser and linen spray... If you're a candle fanatic like me, you need one of these in your life.

What's your favourite candle?

Katie xx

  1. £40 is just too much of a push for me, however they do look and sound absolutely gorgeous. x

  2. I love candles too, I have never tried Jo Malone candles but might have to give them a try after reading this! You should try the Aromatherapy Associates candles, they are lovely.

  3. I adore Jo Malone candles, if I could have a house full of Jo Malone products I'd be eternally happy. Pomegranate Noir is my favourite, it is simply divine! I don't actually find the price too bad when you consider how much use you get out of them and how scented they really are. I'd rather buy one really good candle and know it's got good burning time and really does smell than a handful of medicare ones that are a waste of money and time! x

  4. I've been thinking of getting a new candle for a while but could never think of a different brand apart from my trusted yankee candles but now I think a Jo Malone candle is something I need in my life and house!
