A Twist on the Smokey Eye.

It's no secret that I love eyeshadow. I'm becoming more and more adventurous with colours so I was super excited to have a play around with some new bits from Yves Rocher*

I have always sworn by the Wet n Wild eye shadow primer, so trying another was quite strange for me. I love the sleek packaging of the primer and this comes out really creamy and not sticky at all, which I love. I've also noticed this feels really light on my lids too, which is a bonus as my other primers can get a bit heavy. The Yves Rocher Fixing Eye Primer certainly gets a thumbs up from me.

Moving on to the colour products themselves. The eye shadow quad in Brilliant Green is super pigmented and a gorgeous mix of shades. Green is actually my favourite colour and think it goes so well with my pale complexion. The green certainly adds an interesting twist on the smokey eye.

I finished my look off using the Volume Vertige Mascara, which has an incredible brush and really separates the lashes. I've been on the hunt for a new mascara and this is exactly what I've been looking for. One coat of this gives me super long, voluminous lashes.

I'm not one for eyeliner (mainly cos I am rubbish at it) but you can finish of for a more sexy smokey eye look with the Kajal Liner which comes in a handy crayon-type bullet.

As always I'm super impressed with the Yves Rocher range and can't wait to experiment more with  my new eye products.

  2. I never use colour on my eyes, I alway seem to stick with neutral tones. This looks really pretty though :)
