Last Sunday I was very kindly invited to a super relaxing event at Manchester Yoga Central with Ocean Finance. To be honest this couldn't have come at a better time for me as I was desperate for some chill time.
As soon as we arrived we chose one of the relaxation therapies on offer. I went with some reflexology which was incredible and just what my tired feet needed. Luckily we were a small group so we managed to fit in another treatment each, before the yoga group finished. I managed to try out reiki for the first time, which was a very surreal experience, however something I would certainly recommend for anyone that gets super stressed.
After our treatments it was our turn to try out an hour of yoga tailored to bloggers and spending a lot of time at the computer. The stretches were great and I seriously felt like a new woman after we had finished. Everyone then came together for a little talk about different relaxation techniques, and things we can all do on a daily basis to improve our stress levels and sleep patterns.
Finally the day was finished off by a gorgeous tofu Thai green curry, which was really the perfect end to an incredible day. We all commented on how great the event had been and that we all couldn't think of a better way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon.
