Selfridge's Beauty Haul.

For my birthday, a few weeks back, I was lucky enough to receive a Selfridge's gift card from my parents. I knew immediately that the Beauty Hall in Manchester Exchange Square was the place I needed to head to spend my pennies.

I'd been eyeing up some of these products for a while and couldn't wait to get my hands on them. I will be honest the Mac Paintpot in Soft Ochre and the Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick in Dusty Mauve were completely enabled by other bloggers. I've seen the Paintpot being used as a eyeshadow base on so many YouTube channels, I knew I needed to try it for myself.

I also picked up a new Mac lippy in Twig, which is just the perfect raspberry-toned lipstick, which really compliments my pale skin. I know I will be getting a lot of wear out of this easy-to-wear colour.

Finally I picked up the YSL Baby Doll mascara in black, which I've been lusting after forever. I love the brush which really helps to separate my lashes and add a bit more density. Plus the packaging is easily the most sophisticated thing I own.

  7. Ooh what fab products! I need to trade in my MAC Painterly for Soft Ochre. I've been using them as an eyeshadow base for years and can't recommend them enough!
