So Much Meat.

Last night I was invited to the fabulous relaunch of Bembrazil in Altrincham. The night was filled with lots of drinks, gossip and tonnes of food - it was certainly my kind of event. Whilst we were eating and networking with other bloggers a band was playing which gave the event a really relaxed atmosphere. I think the unlimited complimentary drinks probably helped too...

I've never had the chance to eat at Bembrazil before and although I knew a little about the concept, I was very pleasantly surprised at how much I could eat. The sides are buffet-style, so I was able to pick out the GF and DF options easily which was a huge bonus for me. Once I'd pilled my plate high with polenta cubes, I sat back down ready for the meat to arrive. You are brought lots of different meats throughout your meal from chicken to beef and gammon, all freshly spit-roasted. The concept is simple, you have a little card on the table with once side green and the other red. If you turn your card to red, no more meat will be brought to your table, then the meat returns when you switch back to the green card. I don't think I've ever eaten so much in one sitting. My favourite thing from the menu was spit-roasted pineapple coated in cinnamon. It was amazing and I could have had several plates of that gorgeousness.

It was such a great night and so well organised and I even did a bit of celeb spotting. Ledigo PR certainly know how to hold a fab event!

This is what I wore to the event. The two-piece is from Luxemme* from their limited edition range. I loved the material and style, it's really light-weight and comfy. I'm really conscious about wearing crop tops, but because these shorts are high-waisted I felt really comfortable the whole night. I teamed the two-piece with my Michael Kors bag and New Look Boots.
