Three years ago I started my university journey. If you'd told me how fast the time would go, I would consciously take in every minute and enjoy every second. I loved uni, yes it was incredibly hard and challenging at times but I couldn't fault my university one bit.
For those that aren't aware I now have a 2:1 Bsc (Hons) Adult Nursing. I actually can't explain how proud and overwhelmed I am, after completing my degree and training. I am finally a nurse! Weirdly this piece of paper feels so scary and exciting, I could never have imagined how it would feel to be so happy with my results but so terrified that I don't have the comfort blanket this is UCLan any more.
So here's to the next step in my journey. I don't doubt that it will be an emotional roller-coaster, but I do know that three years of really hard work has paid off. This time next week I will be starting my first 'real' nursing job and I feel so lucky to be able to say that. Now onto the next chapter...
