Easy on the Eyes.

When I saw this book recommendation on Kate's blog I knew I needed to get my hands on it. The book Easy on the Eyes is written by Lisa Potter-Dixon, Benefit's head make up artist. Although I'm not a huge fan of Benefit's make up products, I'm obsessed with this book. Why? Because it's so easy to follow.

I'm not very adventurous when it comes to make up. I know what I like and tend to stay in that comfort zone. Lately I've been trying to branch out with bolder colours on my eyes, but I'm never quite brave enough to step outside. I'm hoping this book can help me to come out of my nudey-brown comfort blanket and be a little more daring.

All of the looks are designed to be simple, straight forward and most importantly quick. I can't wait to sit down and properly experiment with the ideas and tips throughout this book and maybe share a few of them with you. Wish me luck!

  4. I have this as well! I've only had a flick through so far but it looks really great, really detailed imagery and the make-up looks look really easy to re-create.

  6. This book looks amazing! I'm not very adventurous when it comes to makeup, either - I like to experiment with lipsticks and fashion, but I'm pretty much wearing the same eye makeup everyday.
