The Only Highlighting Palette You'll Ever Need.

I've officially found the highlighting palette of dreams. When I picked up my Boots 3 for 2 make up products last week, I grabbed the Sleek Solstice Highlighting Palette. Sleek have absolutely hit the nail on the head with this incredibly beautiful palette. The quad comes with four different highlighting shades, each designed for a different part of your face and body.

Of the four shades, three are powder based and the one designed for the brow bone is cream based. I'm not usually a big fan of cream based products but the pigmentation of this one is really great and the texture makes it really easy to blend and give the shape you want. The powder based highlighters are just perfect, ranging from a soft pink colour to a slightly orange toned and finally a gorgeous golden colour.

My favourite of the three is the pink colour as it works so well for highlighting cheek bones and my cupid's bow. I've been using the golden shade if I'm looking for that 'inner glow' look and dusting lightly on my temple and down my nose. The orange tone I've been using on my eye lids as a shadow and highlight shade, which just works perfectly with brown and nude toned shadows.

I can't fault anything about this palette. The packaging looks super expensive and is so sophisticated and sturdy. I just can get over how pretty the shades are and how versatile the colours are and how easy they are to work with. The Sleek Solstice Highlighting Palette is priced at £9.99, but is actually on offer at Superdrug for £6.99 at the moment - go grab a bargain. I'm pretty sure it's limited edition too, so grab it while you can, ready for the party season.

  2. So beautiful shades! I've never really dabbled in Sleek before - apart from the odd blush - but this looks like a wonderful Christmas gift with its gold casing! :D xx
