A Make-Up Must Have.

I've heard so many great things about Zoeva over the past few months, I knew it was time I invested in their products after seeing many YouTubers raving over the Cocoa Blend palette, I hit Depop to see if I could pick up a bargain. And I did exactly that, I managed to get this nearly-new palette for a tiny £10!

So was it worth the hype? Absolutely. The shadows are such an amazing range, from super light nude for a base to a shimmery black for that super smokey look. Plus there are a few shades that I would never have the thought to have tried. The red in particular is really stunning and reminds me exactly of Mac Cranberry shadow. I've been being a little more daring with the shades I've been trying so this gorgeous red is great for experimenting with a bit more colour going into spring.

The palette features both matte and shimmer shades, so is ideal for creating lots of different looks. I'm a huge fan of shimmer shades to help highlight a look, so the colours of this palette are just perfect for me. The shades are really buttery and the pigmentation is pretty impressive. These swatches are just from a quick dip on my finger and and a swipe on my arm. The shades can be easily built up from a subtle shade to a deep block of colour. There is a shade for every occasion so make this perfect for taking travelling and creating so many different looks.

I would certainly recommend trying out the Zoeva eyeshadow range and checking out their other palettes if this isn't the right one for you. Plus Depop is such a good place to pick up make up bargains, if you want to try something before making the splurge! I can't wait to try some more of Zoeva's products!

Heading into Spring with White Stuff.

Shirt - White Stuff*
Leggings - ASOS Maternity

I was recently contacted by the lovely people at White Stuff and asked if I would like to style up one of their shirts and show off my style heading into spring. I'm a huge fan of White Stuff, the quality is always amazing and the style and fit of the clothes is just so flattering.

I ended up picking this gorgeous turquoise shirt with cute tribal-star design. I knew I'd have to pick up something a little floaty to make sure it still looked flattering with my growing bump. Thankfully this shirt is just perfect and I've been wearing it none stop. The material is really light and airy, making it ideal for this time of year when the days are trying warmer. But it also has the three quarter sleeves, which means it's still keeping me warm while the evenings are still cooler.

I've really struggled the last few weeks with finding things to wear that I feel comfortable it. I'm starting to get frustrated that nothing fits me any more, but that does mean I get to do a spot of shopping! So I paired the beautiful shirt with some ASOS maternity leggings and my trusty riding boots. This outfit is so simple but unbelievably comfortable which is something I've really needed the past few weeks.

I picked the shirt up in a size bigger than I would usually, not only to add room for bump but I also really like that "over sized" look. I'm glad I went up a size too cos it means I can easily got into this for the next few months and hopefully all the way through spring into summer.

This is a great shirt for transitioning into spring time, especially if you're looking for something that is super easy to wear and can be dressed up or down for a day to night look. I would certainly recommend checking out The White Stuff for all you busy mums that just need to grab something to wear in the morning, with little time on your hands. This just looks effortlessly cool and takes seconds to put together. Plus I've just spotted White Stuff sale - happy shopping!

What are your go-to spring wardrobe essentials?

NYC Candle Haul.

Whilst in New York, I couldn't miss out on a trip to Bath & Body Works. After hunting it down in the pouring rain, I was super excited to browse the gorgeous candles.

I was a little overwhelmed at first cos there is just so much choice but after getting my bearings I settled on these three. I picked up the limited edition Easter candle in Cotton Candy Marshmallow and then two of the regular ones in Mahogany Coconut and Tiki Mango.

The limited edition candle is a three layer candle and each layer smells sweeter than the last. It's an incredible scent and completely fills my entire house, even when it isn't burning. I picked up the Easter candle holder too, which has a cute bunny design and makes the candles look even prettier.

I haven't burnt the other two candles yet because I don't want to run out, but they smell amazing even before being burnt. The Mahogany Coconut was a recommendation from the sales assistant and it's just perfect. The scent is manly and musty but with a subtle coconut undertone which makes it a little more feminine. This is the perfect bedroom scent.

The Tiki Mango candle is very fruity, as the name would suggest. But it's not sickly or over powering and is the perfect scent for moving into spring time.

All three candles are the three wick candles and so far, they are the most even-burning candles I've ever used. I can see these burning all the way down with very little wastage.

Unfortunately these are hard to get hold of in the U.K., I know eBay have a few sellers though. I was lucky enough to pick all of these up on a half price day so they were a tiny $12.50 each! I would certainly recommend picking some of these candles up if you're ever in the USA, I only wish I'd bought more!

Jo Malone Carrot Blossom & Fennel.

After feeling a little bit sorry for myself as none of my clothes fit any more, I took myself off to Jo Malone and picked up a little perfume I'd been eyeing up.

The new Jo Malone Herb Garden collection came out a few weeks ago and as soon as I heard the names of the perfumes I knew I would love this one. I picked up the Carrot Blossom & Fennel which is just the most gorgeous scent.

Since being pregnant I've found my usual sweet smelling perfumes, a little too over powering. This scent is just the perfect mix of sweet and subtle licorice notes, along side the carrot makes a really pretty, sophisticated perfume. I can spray this at 6am before work and still be able to smell it when I arrive home at 8pm.

Something I adore about the Jo Malone limited edition perfumes are the bottles there is always so much effort and thought into the design. The Herb Garden bottles have the prettiest floral-garden designs and as green is my favourite colour, I am in love with the colour of the bottle it's self.

All of the scents are priced at £44 for 30mls, which for the quality of JM perfumes, is totally worth it. There are four scents in the range but this is easily my favourite. I would certainly recommend giving these a whiff next time your passing a counter.

Mother's Day with Matalan.

With Mother's Day around the corner Matalan* challenged me to find some perfect gifts for this Mother's Day. My hubby thought we should do something a little bit different, so he took to Matalan and picked me up some gifts for my first "sort of" Mother's Day.

We were really lucky to find out the gender of our little peanut, this week. And if you hadn't already guessed by the photos... It's a girl! We couldn't be more excited!

Jonathan very kindly picked me up some gorgeous bits in Matalan for our little one to wear, later this year. I had no idea that Matalan did Disney items, so this snuggly Winnie the Pooh sleep sack is just adorable. It's amazing quality and the neutral colours are perfect for any tiny baby.

He also picked up this pretty floral dress and cardigan combo, which is just the cutest. I can't wait to dress her up in pretty princess dresses, especially cos she's going to be a summer baby.

Finally a few cute accessories which really made me smile. The hair bands are really sweet but the bandanna bibs are the sweetest. The bibs are the perfect gift for mummies with the "I love mummy" logo.

So for any daddies out there looking for last minute gifts for new mums, I would certainly pop down to your local Matalan. Plus they do women's wear and home wear too so you'll have plenty of choice for Sunday!

Happy Mother's Day to all the mummies out there!

The Best Moisturising Duo.

Pregnancy hormones have not been my skin's best friend and after having hormonal break outs mixed with drier than dry skin has driven me crazy.

Thankfully Antipodes* came to the rescue, as always. I've been relying on the Vanilla Pod Hydrating Day Cream to keep my skin happy throughout the day. This was an absolute lifesaver I'm New York, when the crazy winter conditions ruined my face! It's a super smooth cream that literally melts into the skin. And if the name puts you off, you'll be pleased to hear that this has a very delicate scent and is more herbal scented than overpowering sweet vanilla.

Pairing the day cream with the Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream, has been keeping my skin issues at bay. This is a much thicker cream but doesn't sit heavy in the skin. Nothing bugs me more than a night cream that you can still feel the residue of when you wake up. This leaves my skin looking plump and refreshed and ready for the day ahead.

I would absolutely recommend these gorgeous Antipodes products to any skin type. My hubby has a much different type of skin to me and he really enjoys using these products too. If you're in the market for a new moisturising duo, I would certainly check out these.
